We are proud to be partners of González Byass, one of the largest wine groups in the world, which we have been able to help in its digital transformation process to increase demand generation. We have defined, developed and launched a B2C eCommerce for wines and spirits, their global corporate website and some of the websites of their most emblematic wineries such as Tío Pepe, Dominio Fournier or Beronia. In addition, we have helped them in the integration of SalesForce Sales and Marketing Cloud.

More than a consulting provider, González Byass was looking for a partner capable of accompanying the organization in its digital transformation process.

Starting point:

The starting point was a company with an outdated web ecosystem that was not adapted to the technical and user requirements and with an eCommerce with low conversion and that relied heavily on manual processes.

 

Objectives

The Innovation area of González Byass, in collaboration with BeRepublic, begins a process of digital transformation that seeks to increase the demand for its products by working on four main focuses:

 

  • Increase awareness and engagement with the end consumer by creating digital assets capable of generating demand and activating the brand.
  • Boost and capitalize the investment in On-Trade.
  • Provide Sales department with digital tools to improve its sales strategy.
  • Optimize the scope of actions with the distribution channel.

Project phases

  • Immersion and definition

We began by conducting a deep immersion into the historical reality of the brand, as well as the state of its current assets.

We then proceeded to design the digital ecosystem by defining the journeys between each of the brand’s assets to reinforce the user’s buying process.

  • Creation

The definition of the different platforms was carried out by a multidisciplinary team taking into account organic traffic acquisition and user experience, and aligning the best practices of the digital environment with the identity and values of a brand with 185 years of life.
